Once upon a time...

We have been very busy this week in Early Years. Together we have had so much fun learning our class story, using our story actions. We also made our own stage in the classroom for the children perform the story. Children, please re-tell your grown ups the story of the little boy who wanted a friend. This week the children have loved playing in the library, using the story shelves to act out their own versions of a story.

In Maths we have been learning about 2D shapes. We created our own shape 'Borris' robots, sorted shapes into groups and went outside to mark-make our own shapes on the playground.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be talking and learning about Autumn in Early Years. We would appreciate if parents could donate a pumpkin to us, this will be used for our outside messy play and sensory topic table.

Have a lovely weekend!
